They might not help you more than me, but if they see that two users are having the same issue they might try to fix whatever is going on. If you're using an official license of Bias (I'm not judging if you don't), I suggest you reach out to customer support. You can also configure midi inputs to turn effects in the preset's signal chain on and off if you go to the pedal or amp you want to toggle by right clicking the thing you want to control, select midi learn (or midi assignments I can't remember right now) and click the "learn" option next to "toggle" I suggest you create banks of presets based on your needs (A bank for Metallica songs, a bank for other bands and so on.) Configure the + and - Midi commands to switch presets in the bank and use each of the banks independently based on your needs. In that case, test what switches are detected by Bias FX and use the configuration that works best for you. If it works, you have the same issue I have. Open Bias FX 2, go to Midi Control assignments, find a parameter to configure, click on "learn" and start pushing down switches until you see Bias registers a Midi input correctly. The best I can get in that mode is Bias to detect buttons 1 to 4 of the controller and nothing else (not even the switches meant to change presets on the far right).ģ- Bias FX will detect inputs from both rows of switches (1 to 4 and A to D) if you select the "ALLCC#" mode by keeping the D switch pressed down when powering on the controller.Ĥ- Make sure that you turn the Midi Commander on in the mode you want to use before opening the BIAS FX app. You do that in "Midi control assignments" on the Midi options.Ģ- For some reason, the BIAS FX mode of Midi Commander doesn't work correctly with Bias FX and I have not gotten it to work the way Maru shows in her video. You can however asign a switch in the Midi Commander to change presets in Bias FX. I assume you're using the standalone app of Bias FX (if you're using the vst plugging you need to follow a few other steps)ġ- You can't control Midi inputs in the way you show in your images.
